ABOUT VICKI

UK-based saxophonist, DJ and woodwind artist Vicki Watson has built a flourishing international career playing feel-good music that radiates positivity and joy. Her infectious smile and vibrant energy make her a firm favourite with audiences, whether playing full-throttle Ibiza club classics and dance anthems, upbeat pop favourites or smooth, chilled-out grooves.
Bringing the dynamic range, melodic sensibility and improvisatory nature of her classical and jazz roots straight to the house music scene, Vicki masterfully combines soaring melodies, punchy rhythmic riffs and freestyle flourishes. Her sound is bold, direct and spirited, with a tonal warmth that is honest and engaging.
Equally at home behind the decks, performing on a festival stage or playing saxophone in the heart of a packed dance floor, Vicki has developed a distinctive one-woman DJ and sax format that allows the music to evolve naturally throughout an event. Her sets can begin with elegant background music and relaxed, sun-soaked grooves before gradually building into uplifting house, disco, commercial dance and pop anthems, with live saxophone woven organically through the mix. Whether creating an atmospheric soundtrack for cocktails beside the sea or filling a dance floor late into the night, she responds instinctively to both the setting and the audience.
Vicki’s musical background spans classical performance, jazz, improvisation and electronic music. This breadth gives her playing its characteristic combination of tonal warmth, rhythmic precision and expressive freedom. Her performances blend soaring melodies, punchy riffs and spontaneous improvisation, ensuring that each set feels fresh, immediate and entirely individual to the occasion.
Performing at more than 100 events each year, Vicki works throughout the UK and internationally. Her career has taken her from New Year celebrations and luxury resort residencies in the Maldives and the Seychelles to beach events in Türkiye, corporate engagements on the coast of Sorrento and performances at prestigious British venues including The Gherkin, Shakespeare’s Globe, Coworth Park, the Ageas Bowl and Wilderness Festival and for audiences of up to 15,000. Her wider portfolio also includes studio recordings and session work for albums, film and gaming projects.
Vicki is the founder and creative director of Sax Couture, a luxury performance brand exploring the space where music, visual artistry, fashion and experiential design meet. Rather than treating live music as a separate element within an event, Sax Couture brings sound, styling, staging and atmosphere together to create cohesive, immersive performance experiences. Its three collections, Lumière, Balearic and Privé, encompass everything from glittering sophistication and coastal cool to fully bespoke productions created around a client, venue or brand.
At the centre of the Lumière collection is Vicki’s extraordinary P. Mauriat Grand Dreams alto saxophone, individually embellished with 17,500 genuine Swarovski crystals by renowned crystal artist Tracy Stokes of STOKESI. The instrument combines Golden Shadow, Crystal and Black Diamond stones, with every crystal individually placed by hand. Fully playable as well as visually spectacular, Lumière transforms the saxophone into both a professional instrument and a striking work of art.
The Balearic collection expresses another side of Vicki’s work: relaxed, contemporary and inspired by the atmosphere of Mediterranean beach clubs, sunset terraces and coastal celebrations. Combining a sleek slimline DJ setup with deep house, lounge beats, nu-disco and Café del Mar-inspired sounds, it creates an elegant form of chilled-out luxury that can remain understated or build naturally into a more uplifting party atmosphere.
Through the Privé collection, Vicki and her creative team develop fully bespoke experiences in which the music, aesthetic and atmosphere are shaped around the individual event. These may range from intimate private celebrations to gala evenings, destination weddings, fashion events, launches and luxury brand activations, with opportunities to incorporate tailored styling, sound, lighting, décor and additional performers.
Alongside her live work, Vicki is an electronic music producer and recording artist. Her original productions combine saxophones, clarinet, bass clarinet and flute with percussion, sampling and music technology, reflecting the same curiosity and versatility that shape her performances.
At the heart of Vicki’s work is an instinctive understanding of atmosphere. Sometimes that means creating a subtle soundtrack that sits elegantly within its surroundings. Sometimes it means stepping forward with an unforgettable live saxophone moment. At other times, it means taking an entire room with her as the celebration reaches full flight. Whatever the setting, her performances are polished, personal and filled with an unmistakable sense of warmth, style and joy.
