It was a busy end to the summer last week playing for five events across five counties (Wiltshire, Gloucstershire, Somerset, Oxfordshire and West Sussex). This saxophone concerto was written for the
Steven Spielberg film ‘Catch Me If You Can’, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks, telling the astonishing story of million-dollar teenage con artist Frank Abagnale Jr. The music was nominated for the Academy Awards Best Original Score and the saxophone part was originally played by Dan Higgins.
